Add Triggers in a Flow
A trigger is an event that serves as the starting point of the flow. Adding a trigger to a flow is an essential step in its creation.
The Backflipt platform offers five different trigger types:
- Manual Trigger
- Scheduled Trigger
- Webhook Trigger
- Callable Flow Trigger
- Application Trigger.
To add a trigger in a flow
- In the Add Flow dialog, search for or select the type of trigger that you want to add.
For example: If you are an adding application trigger, select Salesforce or If you are an adding manual trigger, select Manual Trigger. - Select Done. The new flow is created and opened on the canvas page.
- In the center pane of the canvas page, select the trigger to update Step Info properties.
- In the right pane of the canvas page, under the Step Info properties, enter the Step Title and the Step Description for the trigger.
- Next Add Action Step.
